She Wanted a Pink Fairy Costume for Halloween

All my little girl talked about was wearing a fairy dress costume for Halloween. She has always been interested in fairies. But she didn't know for sure which kind of fairy she wanted to be. I showed her a few fairy halloween costumes and she still hasn't really made up her mind. We saw a couple of costumes, including a princess one, but she wants to keep searching. She spotted the costume of a woodland fairy and a rather spooky one. We decided to take a break and check out all the fairy accessories, like a cute little choker and wand. We looked at all the head pieces and wings for many of the fairy tale costumes in hopes of taking a rest from the costume search.

We also have a toddler girl to buy a costume for. I saw a little tulip fairies costume that would be perfect for her. I found another costume that I thought she would be adorable in. There was the tulip pink fairy costume and the sugar plum purple fairy costume. They were for toddlers and should fit her perfectly. Our daughter had this plan that we will all dress up in fairy outfits for halloween. I explained to her that Daddy might not go for that idea, and we may not be able to be a fairy family. To tell you the truth, I don't think Daddy would be to thrilled about being a fairy for halloween. It 's kind of sweet to think of a fairy tale family.

He burst out laughing when I let him know about our little girls idea. I told our daughter that there are only girl faires. But she let me know right away, that according to her movie there are boy fairies. What could I say to that? I got her interested in choosing her fairy costume and got her off the subject of the family idea. We kept searching for her perfect costume with a fairy princess and other fairy tale costumes. They had a lot of nice costumes for fairies to check out. Instead of finding hers, she found what she thought I should wear. She said I should wear the costume of the fairy godmother since I was already a mommy. I told her I liked the idea and we would see about it.

After she took care of mommy and her little sister, we went back to her costume searching. All of a sudden she spotted the one and only that she decided she wanted. She liked the snow flake fairy. It was such an adorable costume. It was all white and was perfect for a fairy that represents the gorgeous winter season. So, that was it. Now we had to look for all the accessories she would need to go with it. We ordered the snowflake wings and wand for her costume. There was also an awesome little tiara that matches with the snowflake costume. All she needed now was a pair of white shoes and tights, which she already had. Costume, accessories and everything our snowflake fairy needed was taken care of. We also had everything for her little sister ordered too. We decided she would be the tulip fairy.

We did alright in the props and décor department. My husband is really having a great time decorating the house for halloween. Our little snowflake fairy is having fun helping her Dad decorate everything. She's so excited about halloween this year. We all had to put on our costumes for her as soon as they got here. Her baby sister made an adorable little tulip fairy and her snowflake costume was absolutely beautiful. I ended up being the fairy godmother this halloween. Daddy, who didn't exactly relish the idea, got the tooth fairy costume, anyway.
